Job summary

Quest Pediatric Therapy in Norman, OK is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents. You will work with families and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans that promote mobility, independence, participation, and quality of life.

The role emphasizes evidence-based, family-centered care, coordination with physicians and school partners, and responsible documentation.

Qualifications

  • Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure within six months.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while maintaining documentation and productivity expectations.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, family-centered pediatric care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations using standardized assessments, clinical observation, and caregiver interviews.
  • Interpret physician referrals and determine appropriate evaluation and treatment strategies.
  • Develop individualized plans of care that include measurable short- and long-term goals, treatment frequency, and duration.
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions that support each child's functional development and participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with families to establish meaningful goals and provide education that supports progress beyond the therapy session.
  • Maintain a full-time caseload that may include children receiving services through insurance, private pay, consultation, and school-based contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, educators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation that demonstrates medical necessity and complies with payer and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and physical therapy students, as appropriate.

Position Summary

Working collaboratively with families and an interdisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist develops individualized treatment plans that promote functional mobility, independence, participation, and quality of life.
