Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation and treatment to patients.
  • Document treatments in accordance with physician orders, agency policy, and patient needs.
  • Perform patient evaluations, selecting appropriate diagnostic material.
  • Develop care plans with patients and identify patient‑centered goals.
  • Advance professional growth by attending and presenting educational experiences, in‑services, conferences, and seminars to the team.
  • Assist in supervising assistants, Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), students, and interns as per Medicare Condition of Participation.
  • Schedule patients and staff; participate in discipline‑specific projects such as chart audits, QI data collection, peer review programs, student programs, and CHHA training.
  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and complete visit documentation within 24 hours.
  • Follow all Emergency Management Plans and actively participate in fire and evacuation drills.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Comply with OSHA safety regulations and all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
  • Professional license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with computer software programs.

Compensation

$52–55 per hour (individual compensation within this range is based on qualifications, experience, and skills).
