Job summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide therapy to patients, educate families and staff, and collaborate with physicians in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, NJ licensure with CPR certification, and 1–3 years of experience in hospital/acute care with strong interpersonal skills. Hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm with a starting hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey; CPR certified.
• 1–3 years PT experience, preferably in acute care.
• Experience in hospital/acute care with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients.

Experience: 1-3 years of physical therapy experience, preferably some in acute care.

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.

Required License / Credentials: Physical Therapist licensed by the state of New Jersey; CPR certified.

Other Required Skills: Experience in hospital or acute care setting. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Contact With Others: Regular internal and/or external contacts involving considerable tact, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action or consent where it would be otherwise difficult to obtain.

Supervision Given: Part time supervision over a small group of employees. Most of the time spent performing the same or similar work as members of the group.

Supervision Received: Performs duties independently, following established procedures and reporting periodically to immediate supervisor.

Bi-Weekly Hours: Full-time 80 per pay period

8 am to 4:30 pm

The minimum starting rate for this position is $37.50
