Job summary

Memorial Rehabilitation Institute, part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a licensed physical therapist to evaluate and treat patient populations with physical therapy needs in the Miramar area and associated facilities.

Responsibilities include planning or guiding discharge from therapy services, educating patients and families on treatment plans, advising on adaptive equipment, conducting initial and ongoing assessments, supervising PT assistants and students, and designing care plans

Qualifications

• Accredited Physical Therapy program required.
• Florida Physical Therapy license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.

Memorial Rehabilitation Institute provides highly specialized care ranging from complex multiple trauma, stroke and brain injury to physical and speech therapy. Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations. We also have a home health team and resources for long-term care at Memorial Manor, while also offering therapy for pediatric developmental diagnosis through Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

Summary

Evaluates and treats patient populations for physical therapy needs.
