Job summary

SSM Health Physical Therapy in Wentzville, MO is seeking a Float Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, have MO state licensure (or eligibility), and possess CPR certification. The role offers professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans.
• Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs to enable return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.

• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
