Job summary

Bellway Health and Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Therapy Team to plan, organize, develop, and direct physical therapy services in line with applicable standards and regulations. The position offers Full-Time with flexible scheduling or Per Diem/PRN options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must have an active Physical Therapy license in AL.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents per established standards and procedures.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for therapy services.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in evaluation, planning, implementation and follow-up of therapy programs.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals and communicate findings to residents and interdisciplinary teams.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
