Job summary

The Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in Lander, WY. Focused on long-term functional mobility, you will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and implement programs to improve daily living and mobility in a modern clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (typically in Physical Therapy).
• Proven ability to assess residents and develop treatment plans.
• Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as an active member of an interdisciplinary team for a caseload of residents.
• Perform therapeutic evaluations including gait, balance, and functional mobility.
• Provide assessments, document intervention plans, and track progress.
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment programs based on evaluation findings.
• Provide activities to improve daily living, vocational, and leisure skills.
• Train staff in therapeutic skills and monitor equipment use and safety.
• Consult with medical providers, family, and care staff regarding resident needs.
• Assist in designing programs such as aquatic therapy and orthotic management.
