Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, seeks a Physical Therapist to join the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service. The incumbent provides assessment and treatment to inpatients and outpatients referred through healthcare providers and self-referrals.

The position requires PT licensure, eligibility for EDRP, and adherence to CAPTE standards. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with no telework. PCS not authorized.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted physical therapy license in US state or DC.
• Citizenship/English proficiency requirements per VA policy.
• EDRP eligibility and licensure verification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment to inpatients and outpatients.
• Demonstrate evidence-based PT practices and plan care.
• Coordinate and oversee complex PT treatment programs.
• Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm; Telework not available.
