Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist (PT) to provide early intervention services in the Northern Region of Butler County. This role requires travel to home locations for children birth to age 3.

The position will start part-time and can build to full-time; pay is per session and based on experience. Perks include mentorship with Clinical Directors and Team Leaders, Early Intervention Academy support, and a Lending Library of testing tools.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid for the HealthCare Provider.
• Early Intervention experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow IFSP by providing physical therapy services to children from birth to age 3 and consult with families and team members to support developmental goals.
• Provide services in homes, daycares and other community settings.
• Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate engagement and transfer skills across settings.
• Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate progress and develop therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
• Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) by providing physical therapy services to children from birth to age 3 as well as consultation with the family/caregivers and other team members to support the child in reaching their specific developmental goals.

• Provide services in homes, daycares and other community settings.

• Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate their engagement and active involvement and transfer skills across settings.

• Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.

• Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, HIPPA, and County/State/Federal regulations.
