Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention services across the southern region of Schuylkill County, PA. This role requires day hours from 9am to 5pm and involves travel to home locations.

The OT will work with children from birth to 3 years old in homes, daycares and other community settings, coaching families and collaborating with IFSP teams to reach developmental goals. Documentation and compliance with HIPAA and regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid for the HealthCare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to birth to age 3 children per IFSP across homes, daycares and community settings.
• Collaborate with families/caregivers and other team members to support developmental goals.
• Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to transfer skills across settings.
• Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate progress and update interventions and goals.
• Maintain and file all required documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines and regulations (HIPPA, County/State/Federal).

Job description

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide early intervention services across the southern region of Schuylkill County, PA.
This does require day hours between 9am up until 5pm.

This position will be working with children birth to 3 years old and travel is required to home locations.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) by providing occupational therapy services to children from birth to age 3 as well as consultation with the family/caregivers and other team members to support the child in reaching their specific developmental goals.
  
• Provide services in homes, daycares and other community settings.
  
• Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate their engagement and active involvement and transfer skills across settings.
  
• Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  
• Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, HIPPA, and County/State/Federal regulations.
