Job summary

Physi Core Solutions in Buffalo, NY seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation center. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering evidence-based care to a diverse patient population and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, guide exercises, administer modalities, document progress, and support patients’ recovery. We offer a competitive salary range of 100,000–120,000 USD annually, regular hours Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, concentrating on improving their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, focusing on facilitating pain relief and enhancing physical well-being.
• Provide education to patients about proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to promote recovery.
• Administer treatments such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring patient safety and effective outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and function.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate intently with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Foster a supportive environment by providing emotional encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, ensuring that all interactions respect patients' rights and privacy.
