Job summary

Recoverease Therapy Services in New York City seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team onsite at our state-of-the-art facility. You will supervise assistants, perform evaluations, tailor home- and clinic-based therapies, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy and NY license required.
• CPR certification and valid driver's license are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directing physical therapy treatments to prevent disability and relieve pain.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to implement treatment plans.
• Conducting evaluations of clients' physical function to tailor therapies.
• Assessing home environments to promote independence in daily activities.
• Delivering home-based and facility-based physical therapy services.
• Administering therapies such as traction and massage to aid rehab.
• Evaluating and adjusting prosthetic/orthotic devices with physicians.
• Maintaining clinical records and progress notes for the patient's chart.
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to coordinate care.
• Guiding patients and families on PT techniques and resources.
