Job summary

US Rehabilitation & Health Services Inc. in Dearborn, MI is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients, develop customized treatment plans, and use evidence-based therapies to support safe, effective recovery.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure positive outcomes. The role requires a BS or MS in Physical Therapy, a current state license, and experience with varied patient ages and conditions.

Qualifications

• BS or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an approved program.
• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of operation.
• Experience developing treatment plans and implementing them safely.
• Experience treating patients across age groups and injuries.
• Experience administering PT techniques including manual therapy, physical agents, traction, and ultrasound.
• Experience supervising aides/technicians/assistants.
• Knowledge of facility equipment and best practices.
• Ability to recommend assistive equipment and follow-up programs.
• Ability to motivate patients to achieve functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and existing patients and develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapy programs and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with caregivers, therapists, technicians, and staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and develop discharge plans.
• Continuously expand professional knowledge through education opportunities.
