POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist DPT/SCD (LPT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, utilizing exercises and physical therapy modalities in the treatment and rehabilitation of persons who have medical problems, health-related conditions, or developmental disabilities that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities. The Physical Therapist also helps prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility and promotes the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability to help individuals achieve healthy and active lifestyles. Some travel may be required to provide services between facilities and for various job functions. This position summary includes the most relevant duties and responsibilities but does not exclude other assignments not mentioned.
