A leading healthcare provider in Texas is seeking a Physical Therapist DPT/SCD (LPT) to evaluate and rehabilitate patients with mobility issues. The role involves utilizing physical therapy modalities and exercises, promoting movement, and restoring function. Candidates must have a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and Texas licensure. This position may require travel between facilities.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist DPT/SCD (LPT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, utilizing exercises and physical therapy modalities in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with medical problems, health-related conditions, or developmental disabilities that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities. The therapist also helps prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility, promotes movement, reduces pain, restores function, and prevents disability to support individuals in achieving healthy and active lifestyles. Some travel may be required between facilities and for various job functions. This summary highlights the primary duties and responsibilities and does not exclude other assigned tasks.
