Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis East is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our inpatient post-ICU care team in Memphis, TN. The full-time, weekday schedule supports continuous patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and adjust treatment plans, and educate patients and families while supervising PTAs and students. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, CE opportunities, and a strong clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students.
• Complete documentation per department policies and procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
