A renowned medical facility in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional patient care and develop effective treatment plans. This role involves assessing patients systematically, promoting quality improvement, and supervising therapy assistants. Candidates must hold a current Physical Therapist licensure and possess BLS certification. The position is PRN/As Needed/Per Diem and offers a competitive compensation of $55.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient‑specific and facility‑wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and PT and PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient’s response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as needed.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in‑services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment required.
