Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Warren, MI seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for Neurological Recovery Systems care. The role focuses on evaluating patients and delivering prescribed PT treatments, primarily in Rehab with potential inpatient crossover.

Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or evenings. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, creating and adjusting care plans with patient/family involvement, providing therapy using standard PT techniques, and supervising PT

Job Description

Location: Henry Ford Charwood, Warren Michigan, Neurological Recovery Systems

Hours: Monday through Friday. No weekends, major holidays or evenings.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Primarily in Rehab, but some crossover to Inpatient therapy is possible.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Physical Therapist bachelor degreewith5 years of experienceORMaster’s/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program
• Experience working in Neuro is preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current State of Michigan licensure.Will consider those who will be licensed within 30 days of applying.
• CertifiedBLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross. obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
