Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to deliver individualized mobility and rehabilitation care.

You will administer therapeutic exercises, apply modalities, monitor progress, and educate patients and families while collaborating with PTs and nurses to maintain high-quality outcomes. BCLS within 7 days and licensure required.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence.
