Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES is seeking a dependable Physical Therapist Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Los Gatos, CA. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, and support patient mobility and independence.

Ideal candidates will have an active California PTA license, current BLS/CPR, and at least 6 months of recent PTA experience, preferably in geriatric/SNF settings.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months PTA experience within the last 5 years preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and proper mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
