Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in La Mesa, CA. Under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will support geriatric patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.

You will implement treatment plans, guide exercises and gait training, and monitor progress while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 6 months PTA experience within the last 5 years.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and proper mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.
