Monterey Palms Healthcare Center offers a salary of $85,280 - $104,000 per year with PRN/on-call status. A sign-on bonus is available, and benefits include PTO and referral bonuses for PTA staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Education

Associate degree PTA program

One year clinical experience preferred

Current California license as PTA
