Job summary

AdviniaCare in Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. You will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents.

You will help implement treatment plans, perform exercises and modalities, document progress, and educate patients to promote independence. A supportive team and opportunities for growth await.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Pass the national licensing examination for PTA licensure.
• Obtain and maintain a Rhode Island state PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide PTA-led therapies: exercises, stretches, and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
