Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in Pinole, CA. You will carry out skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist and help patients progress toward their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include documenting patient activities accurately, communicating with patients and staff, and ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts and Medicare regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
