Position Summary

The physical therapist assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy modalities and treatments as per the plan of care established by a physical therapist, in accordance with Michigan state law and departmental policies. The PTA collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, interdisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Associate’s Degree required.
• Michigan PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to hire.
