You will evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and deconditioning needs, develop plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team to improve functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PT program
• Current or eligible NY State PTA license

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Help patients return to their highest level of independence.
• Caseload described as manageable with clinical autonomy within a supportive team.

Education

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our Skilled Nursing setting, you will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, and play a direct role in helping patients return to their highest level of independence. Your caseload will be manageable, and your clinical judgment will be respected.
