Job summary

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting in Waterford, MI, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN scheduling to join our therapy team. Under supervision, you will provide high-quality PTA services in a supportive, clinician-owned environment, with flexible hours to fit your life.

This role emphasizes collaboration with PTs, nurses, patients and families, with emphasis on growth, CEU options, and a strong care-planning culture in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Michigan PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function and independence.
• Collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication.
• Educate patients, families and facility staff as appropriate.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting.
