Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital-Northwest Indiana is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to administer physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist and physician orders. The PTA will help develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the PT to achieve patient goals.

We are located in Crown Point, Indiana, and welcome applicants who are licensed in Indiana and have current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current Physical Therapy Assistant License in state of Indiana.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
• Participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
