PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Victoria in Victoria, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient team and provide care to a diverse patient population.

The PTA will work under the direction of the Physical Therapist to plan and implement treatment programs, contribute to service development, and be flexible to meet the needs of the system across facilities. A PTA license and BLS are required, with one year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• PTA license in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The Physical Therapist Assistant will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Physical Therapist Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.

• Education and Training: PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
