Our 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and ProHealth Care, offers a collaborative environment to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Milwaukee area.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the supervising PT in implementing comprehensive treatment programs using varied techniques and activities, reviewing and modifying as needed.
  • Observe patient injuries/diagnoses and take necessary precautions.
  • Prepare patients for treatments and modalities as required.
  • Provide treatments to diverse patient populations and document according to hospital policy and State Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders under supervision.
  • Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed PT, progressing patients appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Previous patient care experience preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
