Responsibilities

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting.
2. Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation.
3. Help patients participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
4. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members.
5. Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
6. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
7. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
8. Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
9. Adhere to the company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and applicable laws.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited PTA program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or equivalent.
3. CPR certification, if required.
