What you will do in this role:

1. Work in a team to provide compassionate care in a secure setting.
2. Implement the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation under the supervision of the Physical Therapist. Assist patients with tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to patient records daily.
4. Document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
5. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Handle responsibilities in accordance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
• CPR certification (if required).
