What you will do in this role:
  1. Provide quality, compassionate care within a team in a secure setting.
  2. Implement the patient's Care Plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to assist mentally and/or physically impaired patients in tasks that restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
  3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to records.
  4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
  5. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
  6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
  7. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
  2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
  3. CPR certification (as required).
