Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to support rehabilitation in a geriatric/outpatient setting at The Barclay at Charlottesville, VA. The role emphasizes one‑on‑one care, autonomy, and flexible scheduling to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant training program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in the state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two‑step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• One year preferred.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Lifting up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Providing training to individuals and any others involved in their rehabilitation, and documenting results of the training
