Peninsula Post Acute in Burlingame, CA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You’ll provide skilled PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence in a short-term rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Complete accurate and timely daily documentation, progress notes, and other required clinical records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and discharge recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.

• Participate in care conferences and communicate resident progress with the healthcare team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Assist in training restorative nursing staff as appropriate to support resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
