Job summary

Autumn Lake at Cromwell in Cromwell, CT is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a supportive rehabilitation team and help residents improve strength, balance, and independence through individualized therapy.

You will provide treatments under a licensed PT, assist with gait, transfers, and mobility, document progress, and collaborate with nursing and therapy colleagues. Connecticut PTA license required; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut PTA license required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT

• Reinforce exercises and safe mobility techniques with residents and caregivers

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time opportunity at Autumn Lake at Cromwell. Join a supportive rehabilitation team and help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence through individualized therapy.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT
• Monitor progress and communicate resident updates to the therapy team
