Job summary

Autumn Lake at Cromwell in Cromwell, CT is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a supportive rehabilitation team. You will provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed PT and help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.

We offer pay of $35–$38/hour for part-time hours, along with opportunities to build clinical experience across both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care caseload within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Connecticut PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduate PTAs welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Monitor progress and communicate resident updates to the therapy team.
• Reinforce exercises and safe mobility techniques with residents and caregivers.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.
