Job summary

Elite Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Traverse City, MI is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will provide one-on-one, 45-minute treatment sessions and support PTs in developing individualized care plans for active individuals and athletes.

• Current Michigan PTA license.
• Passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, 45-minute treatment sessions for orthopedic patients.
• Treat a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Implement treatment plans developed in collaboration with Physical Therapists.
• Complete daily documentation, billing, and visit notes accurately and on time.
• Assist with insurance authorizations as needed.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and clinical in-services.
• Support sports performance programs through individual and small group training opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment and assist with daily clinic operations.
• Reconnect with former patients and support patient engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, and Athletic Trainers to optimize patient outcomes.
