Sonrisas Therapies in Central Texas is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to bring pediatric therapy to children’s homes across Pflugerville, Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, and North Austin.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Texas PTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Genuine passion for helping children and families through compassionate, family-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Help children build strength, coordination, and confidence through play-based therapy sessions.
• Design individualized treatment plans that align with physician guidance and family goals.
• Use creative, functional activities to promote mobility and independence.
• Partner with families to teach home exercise routines and adaptive strategies that keep progress going.
• Work hand-in-hand with our incredible team of OTs, SLPs, and PTAs to provide comprehensive, child-centered care.
• Keep documentation clear and up to date in our simple, user-friendly EMR system.
