Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their outpatient clinic team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and decrease disability.

Responsibilities include administering therapy treatments, modifying patient care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals. Candidates must hold an associate's degree and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Earned an Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or in process of application for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

• Use massage, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, and assigned exercises to treat patients.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders and supervision.
• Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment.
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

A great Outpatient Clinic is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their growing team for a perm/direct hire assignment. The PTA works under the supervision of either a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist and uses physical treatment procedures to improve mobility, relieve pain, and reduce disability caused by disease or injury.

Job Responsibilities

• Use massage, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, and other assigned exercises to treat patients.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
