Position: Physical Therapist Assistant PRN

Responsibilities:

• Perform direct physical therapy services following standards and physician certification.
• Follow the Plan of Care, supervised by the Physical Therapist, and report changes.
• Adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines.
• Verify and implement the Plan of Care according to physician’s orders and standards.
• Incorporate patient care goals into therapy.
• Instruct patients and families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months experience preferred.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
