Job summary

ABL Health Care is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Home Health in Richmond, CA. The PTA will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with our Clinical Director and staff to maintain high-quality care in the field and remotely as needed.

The role requires a California PTA license, at least one year in home health, and a valid CA driver’s license. Regular travel within a 15-25 mile radius is expected.

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license to practice in California (mandatory).
• Home Health care experience: 1 year mandatory.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Able to travel within a 15-25 mile radius regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within the patient’s plan, coordinating with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and report changes to the physician or nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and submit documentation using company device.
• Comply with all company policies to ensure high standards of care.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, self‑driven Full‑Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Health Care to join our dedicated team and provide exceptional care throughout the region. As a PTA, you will evaluate patients’ physical health, develop individualized treatment plans, and work to improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. You will collaborate closely with our Clinical Director and Clinical Staff, ensuring the highest standards of care while providing support both remotely and independently in the field.

• Provide physical therapy services within the scope of care, following the patient’s individualized plan, in coordination with the Interdisciplinary Team.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License to practice in California – Mandatory.
• Experience in Home Health care - 1 Year Mandatory.
