Responsibilities:

• Promote Elara Caring’s philosophy and policies to ensure quality care
• Perform direct physical therapy services as per standards and physician certification
• Follow the established Plan of Care under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines
• Verify and implement the Plan of Care according to physician’s orders and standards
• Incorporate patient care goals into therapy
• Instruct patients and families on device use and therapy home programs
• Work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment
• Handle, lift, and transfer patients safely
• Potentially work irregular hours including call hours

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association
• Current, unrestricted PTA license for the state of employment
• Preferred 6+ months experience as a PTA
• Willing to travel within the coverage area
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Willing to travel 50%
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently; able to lift 50-100 lbs.

You will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, or Supervisor.
