As a Banner Home Health PTA, you will work with a dedicated team that values daily contributions. The role involves autonomous work and 1:1 patient care, tracking treatment plans and progress. You will typically see 5-6 patients daily under PT supervision, treating various conditions such as post-op orthopedics, neuro rehab, and cardiac issues.

This position covers visits in the East Valley (Pinal County, AZ), scheduled Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Banner Home Care is ranked in the top 25% nationally, providing compassionate, quality healthcare at home, with high patient satisfaction scores.

Position Summary

This role involves administering physical therapy treatments under PT supervision, following physician referrals, standards, and policies. It requires clinical competence and the ability to provide age-appropriate care.

Core Functions
  • Implement treatment plans, considering patient-specific needs, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as needed.
  • Document treatment and patient progress accurately and timely, reflecting comprehensive assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Assist in supervision and delegation, training new staff, and ensuring competency.
  • Participate in departmental activities, meetings, and quality improvement processes.
  • Interact professionally with staff, physicians, patients, and external contacts, reporting and clarifying information as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited PTA program, current state license, and BLS certification. Ability to demonstrate clinical competency, experience, and training relevant to the role. Must possess necessary patient care equipment and maintain required clearances.

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of experience as a Therapy Assistant is preferred for Banner Registry and Travel roles. Additional relevant education and experience are advantageous.
