Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Type: Full-time, PRN

Solaris HealthCare is now hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team!

Qualifications:

1. Successful graduation from a school providing a course of not less than two years for physical therapist assistants, approved by the appropriate accrediting agency recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the U.S. Department of Education at the time of graduation, and passing a fitness examination to practice as a PTA.
2. Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a PTA in the state of Florida.
3. Prior experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
4. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (state and national) preferred.
5. Professional attitude and appearance.
6. Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
7. Thorough knowledge of principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy.
8. Awareness of potential hazards during treatment and necessary safety measures.
9. Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and obtain their cooperation.
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with medical staff and other personnel.
11. Emotional stability to handle the demands of patients and staff.
12. Maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
13. Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement is preferred.
