Job summary

Human Touch Home Health in Fredericksburg seeks a Virginia-licensed PTA for part-time or full-time home health roles serving Fredericksburg and nearby communities.

You will provide in-home physical therapy under a supervising PT, perform therapeutic exercise, gait and mobility training, educate patients and caregivers, and document progress using WellSky. Flexible scheduling and supportive leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• WellSky experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments in patients' homes.
• Follow established plans of care.
• Assist with therapeutic exercise, gait, balance, transfer, and mobility training.
• Help patients improve strength, endurance, and functional mobility.
• Reinforce home exercise and fall-prevention programs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Coordinate with other members of the home health team.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky.

Human Touch Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Part-Time or Full-Time home health opportunities throughout Fredericksburg and surrounding communities.

Patient opportunities may include Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline County, Orange, Locust Grove, Bowling Green, Colonial Beach, and nearby areas.

You do not have to cover the entire territory. We work to create manageable routes based on patient needs and your service area.

What You'll Do

Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will:

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant License Required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes while following the established plan of care
• Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required
• WellSky Experience is a Plus
