Job summary

Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team serving Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Mechanicsville, and surrounding communities. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling, independence, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

You'll work under a supervising Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve personal goals.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required.
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention.
• Assist patients in improving strength, balance, endurance, and functional mobility.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
