Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work across geriatric clinics in Burlington and Mt. Vernon.

The PTA will split days between two assisted living facilities, treating patients on an outpatient basis and guiding mobility milestones for a medically complex geriatric population. Whether you're a new grad seeking mentorship or an experienced PTA with a sustainable caseload, Independence Rehab offers a supportive environment with strong clinical

Qualifications

• Active Washington PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Interest in geriatric care and functional outcomes.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients on an outpatient basis.
• Lead gait, balance, strengthening, and functional training sessions.
• Collaborate with PT to adjust care plans.
• Work with nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery.
• Assist residents through mobility milestones and transfers.
• Provide compassionate care in geriatric clinics and assisted living settings.
