Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Fort Walton Beach, FL. You will provide therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed PT.

The role emphasizes implementing interventions, documenting progress, and collaborating with educators and families in a school environment. Pediatric and school-based experience is preferred, with opportunities to support students across IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• State License or Certification as a PTA as required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in implementing prescribed PT interventions to improve motor skills, strength, mobility, and physical function.
• Support student participation in school activities through therapeutic techniques.
• Document student progress and responses to therapy accurately.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and therapists for consistent support.
• Modify activities and instructional materials based on student needs.
• Assist with equipment setup and maintenance for therapy sessions.
• Monitor and report student health concerns to the supervising PT.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide therapy-related insights.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Qualifications and Responsibilities
