Trilogy Health Services in Ohio is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will perform therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting and help monitor patient progress.

The role requires an Associate Degree, state PTA licensure, and is typically involved in a travel-friendly schedule (less than 10%). CPR certification is preferred, with benefits including weekly pay and a robust rewards program.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current PTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observes patient responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy and progress.
• Provides instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observes patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observes and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.

Education: Associate Degree

Experience: 0-1 years

Licenses and Certifications Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification

Current valid CPR certification, preferred

Travel: Yes. Minimally, as required (Typically less than 10%)
